I have been without soda for over a month now and I'd have to check the bank statements, but I'm almost positive it has been over a month since I hit a fast food joint.
Immediate challenges facing me now are:
- Getting a food menu for 30 days put together and that food purchased
- My wife, bless her heart, who weighs maybe 100lbs likes some junk food in the house. I have to figure out a way that she can have and I can have the will power to not cheat.
- Full medical. Have an appointment on Friday for a full medical check up and stress test. I am planning on joining CrossFit Wylie TX.
- I am a competitive BBQ cook so I am also reviewing my rubs and sauces to try and make them healthier.
Things I've already started:
- 1 hour walks at lunch - with an average of around 3.5 miles walked (going on week 4 now)
- Get up and stretch on my work breaks for 15 minutes. I am totally not flexible.
- Researching exercises to help with back pain.
- A schedule: I won't be doing 4+ hours a day but more around an hour in the morning doing Cross Fit and then an hour at lunch of walking then I think evening family walks. My concern is I don't want to loose the 100lbs so fast that my skin can't adapt and shrink with me.
- Setup a Facebook Blog, might be easier for me to share my experiences and hold myself accountable out there.
- Finish my 30 Menu
- Order more Mulch-Vitamins (I take Opti-Men)
